Because we use a closed loop system at our warehouse our own waste here at Truckers Essentials is virtually non-existent. Our waste sent to landfill each week is less than a third sent by the average kiwi.

Some of the innovative ways we keep packaging from landfill are:

  • Through our partnership with FuturePost we have so far helped to make the popular black fence posts for use NZ wide.
  • One of the most problematic packaging sources is shrink-wrap for pallet deliveries. We are currently working with Biowrap to use shrink-wrap that will biodegrade instead of remaining in our landfills for hundreds of years.
  • ALL CARDBOARD IS RECLYCLED AND CARTONS FOR REPACKING IS SOURCED FROM SAME LOOP
