Oil Rid

Cleaning up oil or fuel spills and stains has always been a chore that nobody enjoyed. The recent arrival of the new US made OIL RID product makes this process far easier, safer and better for the environment.

OIL RID has a long history of cleaning up oil spill. The base product was designed by the US Armed Forces and used for the massive clean up of the oil wells after the first Gulf War in Kuwait and Iraq. Since then the product has been tested and approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It is now used by major emergency services, oil refineries, contractors and specialist remediation teams around the globe.

OIL RID is made in Houston, Texas where it has been developed into a full range of oil and hydrocarbon spill, stain and remediation products suitable for every application.

For the New Zealand market, the first OIL RID products to be released will be concentrated and ready to use formulations. OIL RID is ideal for cleaning up workshop floors, driveways, yards, engine and chassis parts as well as proving ideal for degreasing dirty parts and machinery. OIL RID is readily biodegradable so in addition to EPA approvals it meets the requirement of local environmental standard monitor, Assure Quality.

The unique binding properties of the chemical reaction between OIL RID and hydrocarbons gives it a wide range of uses around the home and workplace.
